United States Air Force Acquisition Officer
Nathan Kirk is a United States Air Force Acquisition Officer serving at the Pentagon in Washington, D.C. In his current capacity, Nathan liaises with Congressional Staff, Headquarters Air Force and DoD leadership, and the end user community to advocate for and defend the budget of one of the Air Force's top three acquisition programs - the $40 Billion, 179 aircraft KC-46 aerial refueling tanker fleet which will be acquired over the next decade. Nathan previously served as a program manager on a variety of Air Force aircraft acquisition programs, and in 2017 completed an assignment in Kabul, Afghanistan where he led a Foreign Military Sales team. With his extensive knowledge of government acquisition and his vision and passion for a future where distributed ledger technology disrupts the aggregated and insecure architecture of today's internet, Nathan plans to help the developer community tap into the vast opportunity emerging from a U.S. Government that will migrate to and leverage this new architecture for countless applications in the future.
